She has been married to Mark for more than 30 years, a contractor in the KC area. They have one daughter, Augusta (Gus) who graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, MD. She is continuing to serve our country as a Naval Officer. They spend a lot of time travelling to wherever they can “spot Gus!” They are both trying to get into the “empty nest” groove with much difficulty! When not cheering on the Midshipmen of Navy she is a Jayhawk and loves KU basketball!
Jeannie is a member of the Wyandotte and Johnson Counties Junior League and Sacred Heart of Shawnee Catholic Church. She enjoys swimming, making jewelry, furniture and landscaping their 40 acres!
